What we can do for you.
Execution is everything.
We focus on making things happen, as fast and cost effective as possible.
Asking questions, finding answers. Questions may go from a business to a technical standpoint. Understanding and studying possible approaches to execute on ideas. Writing a Product Specification document that defines the product to be built.
Creating something that works and that can be tested on a real scenario. It's the step for a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) which you can then decide to iterate on, by adding or removing features or even reformulating the initial assumptions for a Product Specification. We do this by following Lean principles.
Production and assembly at scale, making sure every unit works according to the Product Specification at the end of the production line. Optimizing the Bill Of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing processes for cost and efficiency.
From Idea to Market
We focus on hardware development. However, if your product idea goes beyond electronics and mechanical parts, such as a mobile app or a website that should work along your hardware product, we can help on that too. We have the tools and expertise to take you from a product idea to market.
We are happy to sign an NDA if you need one to share your ideas. On the other hand, every code we write, every design we came up with during the development phase and other information that might be relevant to the project, will be shared with you. We create intelectual property for you to use and own. Licensing options are discussed on a per-project basis.
Fast prototyping means you'll have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) as soon as possible so you can start collecting feedback from your potential customers and validating your initial business and technical assumptions. We can create ultra fast prototypes based on off-the-shelf materials or create fully customized ones which will necessarily take more time to build. The level of customization a prototype requires will greatly depend on the hardware product you want to build. We strive to find the trade-off between development time, functionality and cost that works best for you.
Ready for Manufacturing
Having a prototype and a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is just halfway through the process of putting a product on the market. Once you start thinking about production at scale a new whole set of challenges arise. Some parts of your MVP may have to be re-designed so the finished product can be manufactured more easily, reducing costs. That's called Design for Manufacturing. BOMs may have to be optimized for performance as well as cost. Design and mechanical parts should also go through an engineering process so they can be actually produced, using the right materials and techniques. At the end of the production line each unit must be tested to make sure it complies with the Product Specification. A label with a unique serial number and additional information is usually part of a finished product too. We can develop the processes and the hardware and software infrastrucure that ensures all of that.
Support is meant for fixing bugs and help you on integrating a project with your team. We do our best to integrate our work with your team and will support you from the idea to production phase.
Asking the right questions, finding shortcuts to your challenges.
Struggling on making a decision because you lack the knowledge on developing an hardware product? Are you stuck on a specific technical challenge? You can save a lot of time and money if you have someone asking you the right questions at the right time or answering those you already have as soon as possible. We provide consulting services to help you on that. Consulting services don't include any technical development. However, we include it on every development project you have with us.
